To make use of our pet care services, you will just need to sign up to our portal software and download the app. 

You are then able to receive real-time visit updates with photos, request visits through a secure customer portal, and enjoy a streamlined online payment process.

On approval, you'll receive instant confirmation and all your booking details right away. You can then pay securely through our encrypted system.

Cats and small animals can usually sign up directly in Time to Pet. PLEASE NOTE: If your pet has complex care needs (medications, special handling, medical conditions), please use this registration form instead. You'll get your welcome document immediately, and we'll follow up to arrange a personalised consultation.

Dog Owners

Dogs can be more complex in their care requirements, so we'll need a bit more information from you via our booking form. You'll receive your welcome document right away, but we'll get back to you as soon as possible to confirm your booking and discuss your dog's specific needs. We'll follow up as soon as we can to book a free in-home consulation.

For regular weekly dog walking, you can usually book 1-2 weeks in advance. For pet sitting during holidays or busy periods, we recommend booking 4-8 weeks ahead. Christmas and summer holidays fill especially fast and should be booked 8-10 weeks in advance for best availability.
Yes, Time to Pet is professional pet care software with secure encryption for all your personal and payment information. Your data is protected and only used to provide the best care for your pets. We never share your information with third parties.
To book a dog walker in Christchurch, you’ll need your dog’s name, age, breed, any behavioural notes (friendly with other dogs, leash pulling, etc.), preferred walking locations, and any special requirements like medication or health conditions. You’ll also select your preferred walking schedule and provide emergency contact information.
